Axle Spindle Nut 36mm

This 36mm Axle Spindle Nut is a correct replacement for Volkswagen Type 1 and Type 3 models, designed to properly secure the rear axle and maintain correct wheel bearing preload.

The VW rear axle nut is installed or removed with a 36mm socket. The rear axle nut is slotted for the retaining cotter pin. The rear axle nut is standard threaded and fits the left or right side Type 1 1967–1979 / Type 3 1964–1973. Manufactured to proper specifications, it’s ideal for restorations, repairs, or routine maintenance.
